Gout is the big ouch!
Anne Lorenz, APRN, hosted “Gout is the big ouch!” This free public seminar was held on October 15, 2015. Gout is a complex form of arthritis characterized by sudden, severe attacks of pain, redness and joint tenderness, often at the base of the big toe. Attacks can occur suddenly, leaving joints feeling hot, swollen, and tender to the touch. She also explained treatments and risk management.
