Kristin Twidwell is an experienced Physician Assistant at the Arthritis Center of Nebraska, where she has been providing dedicated care since 2013. With over 20 years of experience as a PA, Kristin brings extensive clinical knowledge and a compassionate approach to treating patients with arthritis and related rheumatologic conditions.
Kristin is committed to delivering patient-centered care, focusing on building strong relationships and helping individuals better understand and manage their conditions. The continuity of care in specialty medicine is one her favorite aspects of this job, noting that the relationships she has built through the years with her patients allows her to be an even better provider.
Kristin received her Bachelor of Science degree from Oklahoma State University. She graduated with Honors from Wichita State University with a Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies and has since completed additional training through the postgraduate Advanced Rheumatology Course with the American College of Rheumatology.
Her husband, Dirac Twidwell, is a professor at the University of Nebraska. They have two children, which means time is spent running from one activity to another. Kristin enjoys starting her day off with an early morning workout, which is an absolute must. Her love of exercise carries over to her patients, as her goal is to help keep each and every one of them active and moving through their best life.
