Karis A. Lange, PA-C

Before pursuing her physician assistant studies, Karis Lange worked in the physical therapy field, where she enjoyed building lasting relationships with patients. Now working alongside Dr. Melvin Churchill, Karis connects in the same way with patients at Arthritis Center to help them achieve their wellness goals. Those requiring a multi-disciplinary approach especially benefit from her physical therapy experience.

A Lincoln native, Karis shares her passion for medicine with her husband, Evan, who is in his medical residency, training in radiology. Together, they enjoy hiking, biking and exploring the great outdoors. Karis’ hobbies also include playing the piano, cooking, reading and knitting.

Karis is a member of the Association of Rheumatology Health Professionals and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She completed the Advanced Rheumatology course sponsored by the American College of Rheumatology for advanced practice providers. She received her Bachelor of Science in biology from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 2014 and her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2018.
