Dr. Rick C. Chatwell
- Born and raised in San Antonio, TX
- Medical degree from Texas Tech University
- Training in Rheumatology at the Mayo Clinic
- Joined the Arthritis Center in 1991
A Texan by birth, Dr. Rick Chatwell was born and raised in San Antonio. He graduated with Honors from what is now the University of the Incarnate Word with a degree in Biology/Chemistry, and pursued additional studies in chemistry at the University of Texas at San Antonio. He graduated with medical honors (Alpha Omega Alpha) from the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine.
Dr. Chatwell completed his Internal Medicine residency at the Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, and his fellowship training in Rheumatology at the Mayo Clinic. He is a Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology and a Certified Clinical Densitometrist.
Dr. Chatwell joined the Arthritis Center of Nebraska in 1991, and enjoys both clinical medicine and research. He views helping people with arthritis and autoimmune disease as a great privilege.
