The Arthritis Center of Nebraska is proud to welcome Dr. Mashood Badshah, our newest rheumatologist, who will be joining our team in September 2025.

Dr. Badshah was born and raised in Peshawar, Pakistan. He did his medical education at Khyber Medical College, Peshawar, Pakistan, and completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with a distinction in physiology, biochemistry, and internal medicine. Aspiring to pursue a medical career in the United States, he did his residency in internal medicine at the University of South Dakota, earning academic achievement awards during all three years of residency. He completed his fellowship in rheumatology at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Dr. Badshah is also interested in clinical research and has published several case reports, review articles, and abstracts, including at the ACR annual convention.

Dr. Badshah not only strives to provide quality patient care at the community level, but also aspires to apply his research experience as he becomes a member of the Arthritis Center of Nebraska family.

Besides medicine, Dr. Badshah enjoys long bike rides, badminton, and follows the national Super Bowl [Go Chiefs!]
